About This Site

Independent Maps LLC is a GIS consultancy owned and operated by registered GISP David McSpaden. David’s focus is trails and recreation access for the disabled. He is a BICP certified adaptive mountain bike instructor and local chapter coordinator for Catalyst Sports. In addition to teaching and leading rides for Catalyst, David is the adaptive trails liaison for MORE, an IMBA affiliate club. He has 30 years of volunteer trail building experience mixed with some professional work. David has experience constructing trails to KASA adaptive specifications. Beyond trails, David works with water and wastewater utilities on asset management and pipe inspection projects.
